Island Clean-Up Day-2019

The Island looks a whole lot nicer thanks to the volunteer Clean-Up team efforts on Saturday, June 8th.  With the help of 14 “hearty souls”, trash was picked up around the Island buildings and along the shoreline and marsh. This year the team found lots of plastic and discarded cans in the most unusual places. Also found were rusted crab pots, an old oyster rake and a heavy wooden plank. THANKS TO ALL who participated.
