Bulkhead update #1

After further consideration and discussion with the contractor, the board reversed the original plan cited in the Owner Meeting, It has now been decided that ALL boats and other personal property in Phase 1 construction area (Aruba, Bermuda and 1st stack of Cayman) need to removed  prior to work beginning…approximately December 1, 2025.  A memo, see below, was sent to all boat slip owners that still have a boat, jet ski, etc. stored there.

Owner Meeting – 2025

Below are key results from the Island Owner Meeting held on October 4, 2025. More information / meeting minutes will be shared shortly.

Board Members for 2025 – 2026 are:

Mark Hannahs, President                             Alan Dietrich, Member

Tom Murrill, Vice-President                          Rich Foard, Member

Nelson Hannahs, Treasure                          Gary Rubino, Member

Charlie Zellers, Member

The monthly condo dues for 2026 remain the same –  $540 / month.

The Special Assessment funding for the Bulkhead / boardwalk project was approved for $4,000 total per owner unit.  The 1st $2,000 payment is due on January 1, 2026 and the 2nd payment is due on January 1, 2027.

Change in Board members

Due to ongoing work schedule conflicts, Martha Behrend resigned from the Island board.  Nelson Hannahs (349-Maui) has been elected by the board to fill that vacancy.
